In May 2018, I was asked to write up a case study around the humble bathroom fan with the goal of finding a product opportunity gap. Given my background with plumbing, this appeared to be an overlooked product space, but only because the majority of my focus was on items delivering water. This is a rather unique device as there are few locations in a bathroom where electricity is already provided, not to mention a ventilation duct, and a footprint that is out of the way.
